dress love

It's time for some of my favorite material: lace. To me, lace is very gothic and romantic, and it fits perfectly natural on a wedding dress. You all have noticed that I've been posting a lot about wedding dresses from this site http://www.dressestylist.com/ <-- they have an amazing selection so I will write more about their wedding dresses.
As I was saying lace wedding dresses is the topic I will cover now. So I'm going to start with my favorite:

This is what I'm talking about, this is perfect! Elegance, style, romance, everything. And it comes in a variety of color! You can choose from Ivory to pink! I think that the red is a great contrast to the white of the dress! Simply stunning. I think it can compliment any womans shape.

I think this dress is very bold and unconventional, but in it lies its appeal. Not every wedding dress has to be traditional, sometimes you can make due with elegance.

This one is amazing because of the details, and it also reminds me of Greek togas. As a former student of philosophy I sure can appreciate that.  It is also great for women who are not as curvy so it gives of an illusion of having rich curves.

Now this dress reminds me of American movies that I watched as a child. You all have seen them. The perfect church wedding.

This dress reminds me of just that, elegant, breathtakingly beautiful. It is rich in subtle details, and I love how the dress is long and gives off a mermaid sort of appeal. How the dress flows behind, just perfect!

This one I'm going to call the ballerina dress

As a big fan of ballet this one reminds me of Gisselle and Swan Lake. The lover part reminds me of a ballerina's tutu. I would love to twirl around in this dress.

Now this dress deserves two pictures, just so you can see the details on the back.
This one I like to call the 1940's dress. I love the fashion in that era because it was very elegant and it was made to compliment a woman's shape. Today fashion aims to minimize the woman's attributes. Luckily wedding dresses always tend to stay elegant. Now look at all the details in this dress, the lace is just perfect. The saten ribbon makes it even better. This dress gets a straight 10 from me!

beach wedding dresses

Heey, it's yet another post about wedding dresses (surprise, surprise), again from the same amazing site: http://www.dressestylist.com
I think I said before that this is my  is now one of my favorites sites to browse wedding dresses and you guys absolutley have to check it out!
What I want to mention now are Beach wedding dresses
Now I'm a summer child and I absolutely hate snow and cold weather. I seriously can't stand it even on a post card! It's really freezing in Sarajevo now ( like -17 degrees), and I found myself browsing through some summer scenery and it got me thinking about summer wedding dresses!
So, the dress that enchanted me, and I'm considering to purchase it just so I could wear it around, is this one:

Now this is a perfect dress in so many ways. It's made out of light material for that humid summer heat. It's very elegant and classic but yet it has this aura of something a little bit unconventional (eg. the naked shoulders). The level of details on this dress is simply stunning, and the belt that reminds me of a celtic knot is perfect. all in all i give this dress a 10 out of 10!

As you may have known ( or not), I'm a big fan of chiffon, so naturally, this wedding dress caught my eye:

This is also one of those dresses that looks great on any body type. It's very elegant and it's so subtle in the details that it looks like you do not need any jewelry to look amazing in this dress. And that is very rare to find, a dress that is so simple yet so rich!
Personally I find that very rare to find, since I do not like wearing jewelry, this kind of dress is perfect for me and for all those ladies who just don't like to wear any!

Of course there has to be at least one short dress! yes, they are very unconventional for the wedding. But, for rule breakers, such as myself I think this would be a great choice!

It kind of reminds me of Lady Diana type of a clothes. It's very elegant and minimal, therefore it has two of my favorite things already! But, this dress caught my eye for another reason, it's pure white. As you may already know the dresses that you can rent in Sarajevo are usually of some cream or ice shades. So having something as pure white as this seems like a great choice. plus, it's summer so there will be some tan going on and the contrast would be just perfect!

Vintage

It's been a while hasn't it ! As you may notice, I have a growing inspiration when it comes to wedding dresses. I don't know where my recent obsessions comes from since I don't like weddings and I don't believe in marriage. But I'm not gonna discuss my opinions now, I just want to show some of these amazing dresses I recently found on this site:

Seriously, this is now one of my favorites sites to browse wedding dresses and you guys absolutley have to check it out!
What I'm mostly interested in are

I have always been a fan of sort of noir movies and bohemian kind of wedding dresses style and I think that some of these, which I'm about to show you, depict some of those styles.
The first one that I liked is this one:

I always hated this mermaid shape of a dress but in this one it looks so dreamy and reminds me of a Disney fairy tale ( and we all grew up on those). What impressed me the most is the details on the lace and the color. You all know I love black but this somewhat creamy ice color really suits my eyes. Also I loved the unconventional gloves. Simple, yet stunning.

The second dress I really loved, also Vintage, mind you: is this one:

The color here is absolutely perfect! It has a pastel tone of peach! And I love the fact that it's not floor length. The details are very simple, and few which suits perfect for this kind of a dress.
It looks very youth like but it still stays in the classical range of wedding dresses.

And now, for, what I'm going to call "Galadriel" dress (I'm about to go watch The Hobbit so I feel inspired).
The details on this one are simply perfect. This is the kind of dress I'd walk in for sure (not towards the isle but hey :D). I can only say: perfection!

The next dress reminds me of medieval kind of dresses, mostly, it reminds me of Aurora's dress (from the Sleeping Beauty Disney cartoon). It's because of ti's triangular part on the bust. I love it! The color is perfect. I love these simple details that catches your eye. Good design is always simple and catchy.

And my last favorite, but not the least is this classical dress.

I'm really a big fan of these shapes, I think any type of body can look great in this one. It's the most minimal dress when it comes to details. But what this dress may lack on details it certainly has in it's rich shape. It looks very comfortable and easy to walk in.
